Preview of Super Bowl

New England Patriots vs. New York Giants
The Super Bowl is right around the corner and it will be an exciting one. Tom Brady is back in the Super Bowl for a fifth time and the Eli Manning for a second time. These two teams met in the Super Bowl in 2007. Eli Manning and those Giants stunned the undefeated Patriots at the time in one of the most thrilling Super Bowls in history.
The New England Patriots have a tough task ahead of them and need to execute to perfection in order to get a victory. First they must protect Tom Brady, the Giants have a terrific pass rushing group and can get to any quarterback. In order to be able to protect Brady they must not get themselves in third and long. This will give Brady opportunities to throw short and quick. The Patriots defense must get pressure on Eli Manning in order to limit that terrific passing offense. The Giants are a very good passing team and have a terrific receivers in Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. The Patriots need to play good defense and protect Tom Brady.
The New York Giants are on a tear in these playoffs. The whole team is playing on all cylinders. They must continue this in the Super Bowl. The Giants on defense need to get pressure on Brady and rattle early and often. This will get Brady to make mistakes giving the Giants offense more opportunities. The offense for the Giants need to get off to a quick start and get an early lead this will give the Giants pass rushing group more opportunities to get to Brady since the Patriots need to pass more. Also I believe the Giants need to run the ball to keep Brady on the sideline as much as possible.
This game is going to be decided in the trenches. The matchup to watch is the Giants pass rushers against the Patriots offensive line. The winner of that matchup will decide the game. Also one other matchup to watch is the Giants receivers against the Patriots secondary. I believe that in both these matchups the Giants have an advantage and they will win this game.
My Pick: Giants 21 Patriots 17
