Jeremey Lin and the Knicks

The New York Knicks are on a roll right now winning 4 straight games and looking very impressive offensively and defensively. Lots of that can be credited to new found point guard Jeremy Lin who has averaged 28ppg and 8apg in that 4 game period. He has really been a positive influence to this team since he has gotten major minutes to play.

The NBA Regular Season is about a third of the way done in a shortened condensed lockout season. As a whole the NBA product has really been hurt from not having a preseason workouts and training camp. This year the teams are averaging more turnovers and scoring has come down. Right now there are only three teams that average over 100 points a game (Heat, Thunder, Nuggets). The teams that did not have major change in players or coaches have looked better as they do not have any chemistry issues like the Heat, Thunder and the Bulls.

Teams in the West are doing extraordinary well at home, rather then on the road; which they are doing poorly. During NBA playoff time; if the West retrieve home court advantage, it could be interesting.
